Hey babes,
Me again! I know you missed me.
Exactly a year ago this week I was exploring the wonders of Thailand and Vietnam. I woke up on Wednesday morning, as usual I checked my emails and my Instagram while drinking my double shot soy latte, trying to keep my eyes open and convincing myself “Girl, you got this! Put your face on and get your ass to work… ON TIME TODAY JAIME!!” as I take my last sip of coffee I open my Facebook and well there it is ‘1 year ago today…’ Thanks for the reality check!
I thought it would be the perfect time to reminisce and share some of my favourite snaps with my favourite people.
I don’t have as many pictures as i would like to have because my phone was stolen on the night we get back into Sydney, would you believe? And almost half of the photos that we took were gone!

Undoubtebly, the best Pho I have ever eaten in my life! Everything was so fresh, we found this place in the back streets of Nha Trang with a little help from our diving instructors
So, theres a funny story behind this one. We got to the airport at 7.30am ready for our flight to Hanoi. We checked our bags and the guy at the check in counter handed us these and said “Finish before you go through gates.”

What are your favourite places to visit in Thailand and Vietnam?
I enjoyed all your photos! Looked like you had a blast! Saigon will always be my favourite but some other places you should consider include:
Hoi An – ancient town, overflowing with history and architecture
Phan Thiet – some of the most incredible resorts by the beach and amazing seafood sold right off the ocean
Mui Ne – sweet and humble countryside, you’ll see your floating markets here along with wooden houses on stilts sitting on top of rivers – this will definitely give you major culture shock
I’m heading there in June and I’m so excited to revisit it!

I was so sad that we didnt get to Hoi An, I really wanted to go but we just couldn’t find the time! 😭
Thanks so much for the suggestions, I will refer back to them as I definitely want to go back. We are heading over to Asia in December but I think we are going to do Cambodia,China and Japan this time! If we have time we will definitely sneak some time in for Vietnam again!
Let me know if you have any other tips for anywhere else in Asia!
